Mailblocks, the spam-free email service, has been inaccessible for at least the last twelve hours.
No word from customer service, no explanations of any kind … one begins to wonder if Mailblocks has gone the way of Kozmo.com, Pets.com, and other web services priced too inexpensively to stick around for long.
Update: Um, now I feel really, really silly.
Apparently, there’s nothing wrong with Mailblocks today. Clyde discovered, quite by accident, that our router was, for reasons unknown, refusing to allow us to connect to that domain … and that domain only. The result? Any effort to pull Mailblocks email or access their website failed.
So: t’was me, not them. I’ll be more thorough before tossing penalty flags next time.
Jeesh – that is odd. My mailblocks was and is completely accessible – and remains so. I hope things get up and running for you soon.
