Grrrr…

Today, I tried to sign into MadeByMark, only to discover my webhost, MidPhase, had blocked my access.

Inquiries to tech support were met with a one-sentence response: “We don’t allow MovableType.”

MovableType, by the way, is the magical engine that makes this site possible. It allows me to post articles from any web browser, any where in the world. It generates every page of this web site. Heck, it generates every page of all three of my websites.

Before I moved to MidPhase (because moving is a real hassle, let me tell you!), I specifically asked whether or not they allowed Moveable Type. (I was assured that they do.)

Several angry emails later, I’ve gotten access again … but mostly, I think, so I can export my entries and get out of here. I’ve asked whether or not the access is temporary or permanent, but answers from tech support are short and cryptic.

*Sigh*
