A Hint: It’s Not Recruitment
Today, I invite you to ponder the questions raised in this lengthy, sober, and thoughful article: "What Makes People Gay?" (Thanks, Kottke.)
As pointed out by the author, there is a clear question but no clear answer. The stakes are high and I pray that the answer is that people are born either gay or straight. The question that is now on my mind is, “Am I willing to live with the proof that it is nuture and not nature? Am I willing to be shown that it has nothing to do with genetics and it is playing “Wonder Woman” instead of “Superman” that took my life down this path?”
My feelings are pretty much summed up by a bumper sticker I saw on a Manhattan car today: If God didn’t make gay people, there wouldn’t be any.
