Apple Store, near Centraal Station
So when Clyde and I get back from Haarlem, I spy a new Apple Store (Der Apple Centre) on the waterfront street, just to the right of Damraak (the main drag leading up to Dam Square).
It’s a tiny shop, but with all the essentials, from hardware you can touch to a compact little Genius Bar along the right-hand wall. There’s even room for demonstrations (for six or eight audience members) in the back.
In the spirit of encouraging international understanding, I left a little contribution behind:
By the way, friends who love All Things Apple refused to believe that my terrible experience in the Apple Store in Seattle ever happened, with many of them writing me to say “That couldn’t have been an Apple store; you must have just been in a store that sold Apples.”
I’m not the only one, though, who has noticed that there are a few rotten Apples in the barrel.
