For the past several years, I’ve used Bible Gateway as my online Scripture resource. While the interface is more than a little clunky, with some coaxing you can find verses using a keyword search and perform comparative readings using dozens of modern, classic, and international translations.
eBible.com, though, promises to turn online Bible study on its ear with a flashy interface, better search features, easy switching among translations, and a zippy Web 2.0 interface. It’s only in beta — so things aren’t as stable as they will be — and, currently, it’s by invitation only. (A clever move, since it has folks — even folks like me — standing in line to get inside.)
To this point, I’ve only been able to read about its yummy hypertextual goodness; I’ll post an update once I actually get inside.
Have you tried the Sacred Text Archive? http://www.sacred-texts.com?
