101 Reasons Why I’ve Been Offline

I’ve taken a short hiatus from MadeByMark.com (and email, and participation in online communities, and just about everything else!) while scrambling to meet a publishing deadline for my latest book, 101 Reasons to Switch to a Mac.

I’m really excited about my 101 Reasons book, as it’s:

– my first non-Tarot title from a major publisher, and

– my first electronic book.

I’ll post more details later. Meantime: thanks go out to everyone who sent emails asking, “Are you okay?” I’m fine; I was just a bit overwhelmed. Because 101 Reasons is a 15,000-word electronic book, I thought it would be an easier assignment to complete, and I agreed to a very aggressive deadline. In the end, there was a lot of research involved — but the real challenge came when I had to compress tons of specific information into 101 chapters … none of which could be longer than 150 words!
