If your browser supports them, you’ll now see some new features at the end of every MadeByMark.com post:
Add to del.icio.us. Del.icio.us is a website where members store bookmarks — pointers to pages they liked, and might want to return to in the future. While you can do this in your browser, if you track your bookmarks in del.icio.us, they are available to you from any internet-connected computer (not just your personal computer) and, best of all, you can choose to share your bookmarks with other people. When lots of people bookmark a page, it rises to the top of the “popular” page on del.icio.us, which, in turn, encourages more people to visit and read the page.
Once you register with del.icio.us, you can bookmark any page on MadeByMark.com and save it for future use. By doing so, you’ll also help other people find their way to MadeByMark.com.
Digg This! Digg.com is an online community where readers submit web pages or articles they think are cool. Once a web page is submitted, community members who like it, “digg it” by giving it a thumbs up. (Those who don’t think the page is worthwhile can vote thumbs down.) Popular pages rise to the top of the digg.dom home page, making it easier for the entire community to find cool pages that most people like.
Submitting pages to Digg.com and voting on them requires a free registration. Once you sign up, you can submit a MadeByMark.com article to Digg with a single click.
Email This. See an article you like? Want to share it quickly and easily with a friend? Click the Email This link. You’ll be taken to a form where you can send the page to anyone, along with a short note explaining why you’re sending it their way.
