Le Petit Prince’s Lesser-Known Brother

IMG_0251.JPGAntoine de Saint Exupery would cringe, no doubt, at this book’s title, which — at least in my fantasies — chronicles the adventures of The Little Prince‘s whiny, jaded younger brother.

(In fact, The Little Lame Prince was a popular fairy tale for children, first published back in 1875. Its hero — a child with paralyzed legs — uses a magical cloak to travel from his bedroom to fanciful destinations. Ah, Wikipedia, how I love you!)

Still, we got quite a kick out of this when friend JH spied this tome being used as set decoration in Southern Living’s “Idea House” in a manufactured community called “Plein Air” in Taylor, MS.
