Happy Father’s Day, Dad. I miss you, and thank you for all the good things you brought to my life. I still see you in dreams, where you are whistling and smiling and working on projects: planting flowers or building attachments for your Hasselblad cameras. I still cherish every visit you make, and always hope for more.
Thanks for that conversation we had — you know the one. It gives me peace to this day. Every time I take a good photo, I think of you, and have you to thank for it. I’m proud of you, and proud to be your son.Add comment

Mark, Thanks for the photo and the good words about Dad. Your post (aided by some happy timing when I tapped on Flipboard this morning) brought extra joy to my Father's Day. You and I are blessed to have a man like Dad for our father. Looking at the photo, I see some physical resemblance of my dad Mac to my son Mac. I want my son Mac to see more of my dad Mac in me.
