Later this year, I’ll have flown over a million miles. These days, business travelers often log a million miles (or more) in the air. But very few people can say they crossed the “million mile mark” due to pleasure travel alone. (And that’s not counting the miles I’ve traveled in cars and on cruise ships!)
Because I travel so much, friends planning trips frequently ask me for tips on where to go and what to do. After pulling together little travel guides and itineraries for them, I decided to start sharing the same information with all my online friends — including you!
Every post at MillionMileMark is written in a way to put you right in the center of the action. Lavish photos help bring each story to life. Eventually, I’ll be publishing downloadable guides for the places we know best … but, for now, I’m busy writing new posts (and adapting some of the best MadeByMark.com travel-related posts) to build out the site.
I’ll keep writing here, of course, about whatever gadget or book or idea has seized my attention. MadeByMark.com will always be my online “writer’s notebook.” But all of my travel and food writing will shift to MillionMileMark.com — so if that’s what you love about my work, you’ll find all those stories there, tagged, categorized, and organized in ways that make it a lot easier to find what interests you.
