Purchased a new media center this weekend — something smaller and
more in keeping with our limited urban space. This prompted us to move
all our video-related gadgets — HD Tivos, the DVD player, Apple TV,
the Wii, and our sound bar system … which, in turn, forced me to
deal with the growing snaky madness of cables crammed behind the old
AV center.
Forty-five minutes later, our more streamlined center and all
components were in place. Left on the floor, though, was this
collection of orphaned cords and cables — all of which had been lying
behind the old media center … connected to absolutely nothing.
