My favorite pie is Clyde’s homemade chocolate chess pie. My second favorite? These yummy meat pies at the Hollywood Bakery one block from the Eden Park Bed and Breakfast. Before leaving for the sheep farm yesterday, I ran down the street, snapped up a steaming bag of pies, and brought ’em back to the house. Our generous hosts provided plates, silverware, and tomato sauce … and we had a feast. Flaky pastry and steak and cheese filling never tasted so good.
