So I finally heard back from MidPhase tech support with regard to my web site and my use of the Movable Type publishing engine.

They didn’t contact me, mind you — I had to send them yet another email, asking, “So, what’s the verdict?”

The response? “As long as your Movable Type installation doesn’t crash the server, it’s fine, but if it does, we will turn it off.”

Has my installation of Movable Type ever crashed their server? When? Under what conditions? How many of those conditions do I control? What can I do to influence that situation?

I’m happy to be “on the air” — but I’m really annoyed that tech support at MidPhase hasn’t given me a clear, reasoned response to my questions.
