After taking in “The King’s Speech” at a local cineplex, Urban Spoon steered us to the highly-rated Buddy’s Pizza.
The square pies (since 1946!) were solid and satisfying, with a deep-pan-style crust, a rich tomato sauce, and just the right amount of topping. Even cooler, though, is the way they handle left-over slices: the waiter hand-wraps each left-over square in wax paper and slips ’em into a sweet little paper bag. Later, when the hankering hits for a late-night treat, each slice is like a little present, wrapped up just for you. Again: funny friendly locals made this joint memorable. Highly recommended. You may also like
