We’re off to Portland on an early flight today, trekking through what’s left of our snow to go trekking through what’s left of theirs.

Coming up: a foodie tour of the Alphabet District, two great films at Portland’s International Film Festival, a first-guided tour of Portland’s best food trucks, and front-row seats at Flash! Ahh Ahh!, the stage version of the 1980’s space opera, Flash Gordon (with Queen’s over-the-top soundtrack performed by kids from The School of Rock).
